Ministry of Natural Resources: The total amount of seller's mortgage involved in the nationwide "transfer with collateral" business exceeds 640 billion yuan.

On May 15, the Ministry of Natural Resources held a symposium in Beijing. Hu Shanshun, director of the Natural Resources Registration Bureau of the Ministry of Natural Resources, introduced that in recent years, the department has made great efforts to resolve historical legacy issues, processing real estate ownership certificates for the masses, and has achieved significant results. Among them, nearly 2,100 counties nationwide have handled 507,000 "transfer with mortgaging" transactions, involving a total mortgage amount of over 640 billion yuan, effectively reducing transaction costs for businesses and the public, and providing guarantees for banks and other financial institutions to prevent financial risks. At the same time, more than 2,200 counties and cities across the country have implemented the "hand-over of certificate upon hand-over of housing" reform for new construction projects, covering over 9 million units in more than 80,000 projects, where over 18 million people have received real estate certificates along with their new house keys.
