SensorTower: Global short video app in-app purchase revenue in the first quarter approaching 700 million US dollars, a three-fold increase year-on-year.
According to the Securities Times APP, SensorTower stated in a post that in the first quarter of 2025, global short video app in-app purchase revenue reached nearly $700 million, almost four times that of the first quarter of 2024. Short video apps with first-mover advantage like "ReelShort" and "DramaBox" continue to lead the market, while many new short video apps that debuted in the second half of 2024, such as "DramaWave", "NetShort", and "FlickReels", have experienced rapid growth.
