Qinzhou City, Guangxi Province, upgrades to issue a red alert for heavy rain.

On May 15th at 9:57 am, the Qinzhou Meteorological Observatory in Guangxi upgraded the heavy rain orange alert to a red alert: in the past 1 hour, Qinzhou urban area has received 72 millimeters of rainfall. It is expected that in the next 3 hours, Qinzhou urban area, Qinnan District Kangxiling, Huangwutun, Shabu, Dafanpo and surrounding towns will still experience 30-50 millimeters of rainfall, with some areas expecting over 70 millimeters of heavy rain. There is a high risk of flash floods, geological disasters, and urban and rural waterlogging, please strengthen prevention.
