Starting from 12:01 on May 14th, the mutually adjusted tariffs between China and the United States were officially implemented. At around 5 p.m., a group of workers at the Paige Logistics warehouse in Baishixia, Fuyong, were seen busily sorting a batch of newly arrived goods. This is the usual situation at the "International Logistics Village" in Fuyong, Bao'an. Tan Fangqiang, Chairman of Paige Logistics, told reporters that with the arrival of the American summer consumption season, the volume of shipments to the United States will continue to increase in the short term, with more orders coming in. He revealed that even two days before the announcement of the adjustment of China-US tariffs, some customers were holding off on shipments, waiting for the clear effective date of the tariff adjustment to start mass shipping. For those of us in the international logistics industry, the official implementation of the adjusted tariffs between China and the United States is indeed a great benefit. Huang Xiaobin, President of Fuyong Logistics Association, said, "Fuyong Street has more than 4,300 cross-border logistics enterprises, of which the majority are engaged in American lines." Zhang Guangyang, General Manager of Huitong Tianxia, admitted that after the tariff adjustment, customers will take advantage of the window period to increase shipments, resulting in a definite increase in volume. It can be confirmed that the market is recovering. The order volume in these few days is expected to achieve a 50% increase. Currently, the US business accounts for nearly half of the company's business, and within the next week, there will be a significant increase in order volume. Customer confidence in European, Middle Eastern, and Southeast Asian markets has also increased, with shipment volumes increasing by more than 10 percentage points year-on-year.
