Databricks officially announced the acquisition of Neon.

On May 14th, local time, the American data company Databricks announced that it had reached an agreement to acquire Neon, a company that focuses on developers and provides a serverless Postgres solution. The company stated that Neon's co-founding team is one of the few in the world that can refactor the Postgres database architecture and achieve true separation of storage and computation. This team, composed of Postgres technology experts and veteran database professionals, will join Databricks and focus on providing developers with production-grade serverless Postgres services in the era of AI.
