Modern cars are opening their first Middle East factory in Saudi Arabia, with plans to start production in the fourth quarter of next year.
On May 15th, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Hyundai Saudi factory was held, marking the company's first production base in the Middle East. The factory is a joint venture between Hyundai and the Saudi Public Investment Fund, with shares distributed at a ratio of 30% to 70%. The factory is scheduled to start production in the fourth quarter of 2026, with an annual production capacity of 50,000 vehicles, including both electric and internal combustion engine models.
