Amazon on Wednesday laid off about 100 people in its devices and services department, which is responsible for developing various products such as Kindle, Echo speakers, Alexa voice assistant, and Zoox self-driving cars. The company stated that these positions only represent a small portion of the total number of positions in the department and are part of its regular business review.
