Amazon cut positions in the Devices and Services department.

Amazon laid off about 100 people in its Devices and Services department on Wednesday, which is responsible for the development of various products such as Kindle, Echo speakers, Alexa voice assistant, and Zoox self-driving cars. The company stated that these positions only account for a small portion of the total number of positions in the department and are part of its routine business review.
