On May 14th local time, the US Department of Defense stated that the US State Department has approved the sale of missiles and related components to Turkey, with an estimated value of $304 million. The statement said that the approved missiles for sale include the AIM-9X "Sidewinder" Block II missile and the AIM-120C-8 Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missile.
