Kraft Heinz has announced plans to invest $3 billion in upgrading its factories in the United States, expecting to create approximately 3,500 new job vacancies, but the company does not anticipate the need to hire more employees. Pedro Navio, President of Kraft Heinz North America, stated that upgrading factories can improve efficiency and reduce costs, helping offset the impact of President Trump's tariffs. He also mentioned that almost all products sold in the United States are produced domestically, and the upgrades will allow the company to launch and sell new products more quickly. Kraft Heinz produces products such as ketchup, pasta, and cheese in 30 factories nationwide. Last month, Kraft Heinz stated that tariffs have increased their costs and reduced consumer purchases due to economic uncertainty.
