Ministry of Commerce spokesperson answers questions from journalists about the suspension of the unreliable entity list measure for 17 US entities.

According to the Anti-Foreign Sanctions Law of the People's Republic of China, the provisions of the Unreliable Entity List, and relevant regulations, the Unreliable Entity List work mechanism will include 17 US entities in the Unreliable Entity List on April 4 and 9, 2025, prohibiting the above-mentioned companies from engaging in import and export activities related to China and making new investments in China. In order to implement the consensus of the China-US high-level economic and trade talks, the measures announced on April 4 will be suspended for 90 days starting from May 14, 2025, and the measures announced on April 9 will also be suspended. According to the relevant provisions of the Unreliable Entity List, domestic companies can apply to transact with the aforementioned entities, and the Unreliable Entity List work mechanism will conduct reviews in accordance with the law and approve applications that meet the conditions.
