The China Meteorological Administration and the National Health Commission jointly established a collaborative mechanism for meteorology and health.

On May 14th, the China Meteorological Administration and the National Health Commission held a working meeting to further promote the "National Climate Change Health Adaptation Action Plan." With climate change health early warning as the guide, they jointly established a meteorology and health cooperation mechanism to promote the improvement of multi-level, diversified health adaptation policies and carry out coordinated actions, strengthening meteorological and health public services. According to the meteorology and health cooperation mechanism, the two sides will establish a meteorology and health cooperation working group, establish a normalized communication and cooperation mechanism, improve policy standards system, establish a risk forecasting and warning cooperation mechanism, warning information dissemination and emergency linkage mechanism, jointly enhance propaganda and popular science capabilities, and promote joint scientific research efforts.
