Jiang Wei, former Party Secretary and President of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of Hangzhou Financial Training Institute, has been expelled from the Party.

According to the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission stationed at the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, as well as the Jiangsu Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, it has been reported that the former Party Secretary and Dean of the Hangzhou Finance Training Institute of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Jiang Wei, is under investigation for serious violations of discipline and laws. Upon investigation, it was found that Jiang Wei had lost his ideal and belief, betrayed his original aspirations, strayed from his faith, and engaged in feudal superstitions activities for a long time. He had a corrupt work style, disregarded the spirit of the Central Eight-point Regulation, accepted gifts and bribes that could influence the fair execution of official duties, participated in banquets and golf activities that could affect the fair execution of official duties, engaged in irregular use of public funds for meals and drinks, and took advantage of official trips for personal travel. He violated organizational principles by not truthfully reporting personal matters, not explaining issues truthfully when questioned by the organization, seeking benefits for others and accepting bribes in the employment and position adjustment of cadres and staff. He breached the bottom line of integrity by borrowing money from management service objects and using his power or influence for the benefit of relatives. He failed to perform his duties correctly by keeping petition materials privately. Jiang Wei's greed swelled, his view of power became distorted, and he used his position to assist related enterprises and individuals in financing loans, project procurement, and received substantial amounts of money. After deliberation by the Party Committee of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Jiang Wei was expelled from the Party. After deliberation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission stationed at the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, he was dismissed from public office. His illicit gains were confiscated. The Jiangsu Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision has transferred him to the judicial authorities for further investigation and prosecution of suspected crimes, along with his assets.
