Gartner has released six major trends in cloud technology development over the next four years, including dissatisfaction with cloud technology, artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML), multi-cloud and cross-cloud, sustainability, digital sovereignty, and industry solutions. Gartner predicts that by 2029, 50% of cloud computing resources for AI workloads will be used, compared to the current proportion of less than 10%.
