It remained in a downtrend throughout the day, trading in the range of 101.800-101.477 points until shortly after the release of US CPI inflation data at 20:30 Beijing time, when it began to accelerate its decline. The Bloomberg Dollar Index dropped by 0.66%, closing at 1231.78 points and trading in the range of 1240.11-1231.46 points during the day.
