On the 13th, the President of the Bulgarian National Assembly, Tsveta Karayancheva, rejected a proposal by the Bulgarian President Radev for a referendum on the country's entry into the Eurozone. The Bulgarian National Assembly announced on the 13th that the proposal was rejected by the Speaker because it did not comply with relevant provisions of the Bulgarian Constitution and other legal provisions.
