Bank of America survey shows that investors' exposure to the US dollar has reached a 19-year low.
The latest survey of global fund managers by Bank of America shows that investors' exposure to the US dollar fell to a 19-year low in May. Currently, about 17% of investors are reducing their holdings in the US dollar, the highest level since May 2006. The survey in May also shows that 40% of investors are looking to increase protection against the depreciation of the US dollar. The percentage of investors who believe the US dollar is overvalued has decreased by 12 percentage points compared to the April survey, with 57% of investors holding this view, the largest monthly decline since September 2023.
