Danish energy company European Energy announced on May 13 that the world's first commercial-scale electronic methanol factory - the Kass electronic methanol factory - has officially been completed and is ready to deliver to major partners such as Maersk, LEGO, and Novo Nordisk. The factory was developed by European Energy and will be operated in cooperation with Mitsubishi Corporation. The statement states that the factory has an annual capacity of 42,000 tons and is fully powered by renewable energy.
