Today, the legal department of Avita Technology issued a statement on its official WeChat account, stating that yesterday, the self-media account "Su Li Zhi Beiye" distorted facts and manipulated concepts in a so-called apology video, falsely portraying Avita's mass-produced cars used in the wind tunnel testing as prototype cars, deliberately creating confusion and misleading the public regarding the test results and our products, further damaging our brand image. Avita stated that, in response, it has filed a civil lawsuit and demanded the immediate cessation of infringement activities, as well as compensation of 10 million RMB for economic and reputational losses. We reserve the right to pursue legal actions against other online users and self-media accounts spreading rumors and defamation. The internet is not a lawless place, and we will continue to use legal means to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the company and its users against rumors, defamation, and malicious attacks.
