Sinopec's Zhongyuan Oilfield, located in the Puguang area of the Sichuan Basin, successfully tested a daily production of 314,500 cubic meters of industrial gas at the Tiebei 1 HF well. The well has a total depth exceeding 5300 meters with a horizontal section of 1312 meters, setting a new record for shale gas well depth in China. This will help promote the formation of a new production base with increased reserves and efficiency in the Puguang area.
