The Thai stock market rose 1.1% in early trading.

The Thai stock market rose in early trading on Tuesday, with the SET index up 1.1% to 1224.55 points. Among Thai companies with a market value of at least 300 million baht, WHA Corp saw the largest increase this morning, up 8.9%, while PTT Global Chemical rose 5.7%. Asset World was also one of the top three companies with a 5.0% increase. Banpu saw the biggest decline, dropping 2.9%, followed by Carabao Group with a 1.6% decrease. Thai airport stocks fell by 1.3%. The US dollar rose 0.3% against the Thai baht to 33.36 baht.
