AMC Theaters (AMC.US) launches a half-price movie viewing plan, betting on summer blockbusters to boost customer traffic.

According to the Zhixun Financial APP, the company plans to reduce the price of movie tickets in the United States by half starting from July 9th every Wednesday, in order to attract more people to go to the cinema between weekends. According to the announcement, this promotional activity will be based on the normal price of evening movie tickets for regular adults. Even in cinemas equipped with giant screens and special effects halls, audiences can still enjoy the half-price offer, only needing to pay a small additional fee.
