Auckland Mayor calls for New Zealand to grant visa-free access to China: "There is no reason why China should not be included in the list of visa-free countries."

On the 12th, Mayor Wayne Brown of Auckland, New Zealand, issued a declaration of city development vision, proposing several areas of development that he believes need urgent attention. According to a report by New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation on the 12th, Brown called on the New Zealand government in the declaration to implement a visa waiver policy with China, in order to maximize the potential of Auckland's tourism economy. Brown said, "China - our largest trading partner, there is no reason why it should not be included in the list of visa-exempt countries."
