General Motors announced the appointment of Sterling Anderson, co-founder and chief product officer of autonomous truck company Aurora, as Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer of Global Products. Anderson will report to General Motors President Mark Reuss and will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end product lifecycle of fuel and electric vehicles, including hardware, software, services, and user experience. Anderson will join General Motors on June 2nd and will be based at the company's technical center in Mountain View, California, USA.
