An informed Iraqi official told the media that Iraq will export 3.2 million barrels per day of crude oil in May and June, a significant reduction from the previous months. The official added that the decrease in export plans is part of Iraq's compensatory cuts to fulfill its commitments to OPEC+. As this matter is confidential, the official requested anonymity. This export level will be lower than the approximately 3.42 million barrels per day of exports announced by the Iraqi Ministry of Oil for March. Iraq has not yet released its export data for April, but according to data from the intelligence company Kpler, the country's average daily exports in April were 3.3 million barrels.
