Journalists learned from a press conference held by the Anhui Provincial Government Information Office on the 12th that by 2025, Anhui strives to establish more than 600 new foreign-invested enterprises, including adding 5 new Fortune Global 500 investment enterprises. Liu Guang, Deputy Director of the Anhui Provincial Department of Commerce, introduced that in recent years, the attractiveness, competitiveness, and influence of Anhui's foreign investment environment have continued to improve. By the end of 2024, Anhui Province had a total of 99 Fortune Global 500 companies investing and setting up 203 enterprises in the province. "Since 2018, the number of newly established foreign-invested enterprises in our province has increased by an average of 9.6% per year, and the proportion of foreign direct investment in the province has continued to increase for five consecutive years compared to the national average."
