The China Meteorological Administration continues to issue a yellow drought warning at 18:00 on May 12th: According to real-time monitoring and pre-assessment of meteorological drought, severe and above meteorological drought exists in provinces such as Shaanxi and Henan, with particularly severe drought in the southwest of Shaanxi and the southwest of Henan; It is expected that in the next 3 days, there will be light to moderate rain in the northern part of Sichuan, and moderate to heavy rain in the northern part of Chongqing and the eastern part of Yunnan, which will be beneficial for alleviating the meteorological drought. However, there will be little rain in other drought-stricken areas, and the meteorological drought will be maintained or even worsen; It is expected that in the next 15-30 days, the southwestern part of North China, the northern part of Central China, and the eastern part of the Northwest region will have above-average precipitation, which will to some extent alleviate the meteorological drought.
