China Information and Communications Research Institute: In the first quarter, the domestic market shipped 69.67 million mobile phones, a year-on-year increase of 3.3%.

According to the Wisdom Financial APP, on May 12th, China Academy of Information and Communications Technology disclosed that in March 2025, the domestic market shipped 22.765 million mobile phones, a year-on-year increase of 6.5%. Among them, 19.424 million were 5G mobile phones, a year-on-year increase of 9.5%, accounting for 85.3% of the total mobile phone shipments during the same period. From January to March, the domestic market shipped 69.670 million mobile phones, a year-on-year increase of 3.3%, among which 61.043 million were 5G mobile phones, a year-on-year increase of 8.2%, accounting for 87.6% of the total mobile phone shipments during the same period.
