China Information and Communication Research Institute: The domestic market shipped 22.76 million mobile phones in March, an increase of 6.5% year-on-year.

According to data from the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, the domestic market saw a total of 22.765 million mobile phone shipments in March, a year-on-year increase of 6.5%. Among them, 19.424 million were 5G phones, representing a 9.5% increase year-on-year and accounting for 85.3% of total phone shipments during the same period. From January to March 2025, the total mobile phone shipments in the domestic market reached 69.67 million, a year-on-year increase of 3.3%. Of this total, 61.043 million were 5G phones, showing an 8.2% increase year-on-year and accounting for 87.6% of total phone shipments during the same period.
