IDC: "National subsidies" stimulate significantly, with the first quarter tablet PC market in China growing by nearly 20% year-on-year.

According to the Wise Finance APP, recently, the international data company (IDC) released the quarterly tracking report of the Chinese tablet market in the first quarter of 2025. The data shows that the shipment volume of the Chinese tablet market in the first quarter was 8.52 million units, an increase of 19.5% year-on-year. Among them, the shipment volume of the consumer market increased by 21.5% year-on-year under the stimulus of the "National Subsidy" policy, exceeding 8 million units; the demand in the commercial market still needs to recover, with a shipment volume of 510,000 units in the first quarter, a year-on-year decrease of 5.3%.
