On May 12, Temasek issued a clarification announcement stating that it had noticed an application called "Tai Bai app software" and a WeChat group chat named "", claiming to be associated with Tai Bai Investment Limited. The application and WeChat group claimed to sell financial products. Temasek stated that this is a fraudulent act that misuses the name of Tai Bai Investment Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Temasek. Temasek and Tai Bai Investment Limited have no affiliation with the "Tai Bai app software" application and the "" WeChat group. Temasek and Tai Bai Investment Limited do not directly sell or retail any investment products or financial instruments in China, nor have they authorized any third parties to represent the company in such activities.
