India continues to impose anti-dumping duties on sodium citrate from China.
On May 8th, the Indian Ministry of Finance, Taxation Department, issued Circular No. 10/2025-Customs, announcing the decision to continue imposing anti-dumping duties on sodium citrate originating from or imported from China, for a period of 5 years. This decision was based on the affirmative final ruling of the sunset review conducted by the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry on February 12, 2025. The anti-dumping duty for Shandong Yingxuan Industrial Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Guoxin Agrochemical Co., Ltd. is set at $96.05 per ton, while for other Chinese producers, it is $152.78 per ton. This case involves products classified under Indian customs code 29181520. The measures will come into effect from the date of publication of this Circular in the official gazette.
