The latest data from the Middle Finger Research Institute shows that the housing rental industry entered the off-season in April, with a decrease in rental demand and a slight drop in average residential rent in key cities. The average residential rent in 50 cities nationwide was 35.2 yuan per square meter per month, a decrease of 0.32% from the previous month, an increase of 0.27 percentage points from March; a year-on-year decrease of 3.40%, which was the same as in March.
