In April 2025, Anhui Province reported a total of 35,590 cases of 24 statutory infectious diseases. There were no reported cases of Class A infectious diseases or deaths. Among Class B infectious diseases, apart from 12 diseases including atypical pneumonia, poliomyelitis, human infection with highly pathogenic avian influenza, rabies, epidemic cerebrospinal meningitis, anthrax, meningococcal disease, diphtheria, neonatal tetanus, leptospirosis, schistosomiasis, and human infection with H7N9 avian influenza with no reported cases of illness or death, the remaining 16 Class B infectious diseases reported a total of 16,029 cases and 55 deaths. The top five reported diseases were viral hepatitis, syphilis, tuberculosis, novel coronavirus infection, and gonorrhea, accounting for 96.19% of the total reported cases of Class B infectious diseases.
