In the first trading week after the May Day holiday, the A-share market saw a significant increase in the aerospace and defense, as well as the communication sectors. Several thematic ETFs related to general aviation, communication, and defense rose by more than 5%. However, some individual stocks on the Science and Technology Innovation Board did not perform well, with thematic ETFs related to semiconductor equipment, chips, integrated circuits, and artificial intelligence generally falling by more than 1%. At the same time, there was a significant influx of funds into science and technology innovation thematic ETFs, with a total net inflow of over 4 billion yuan into ETFs tracking the science and technology 50, science and technology chips, science and technology AI, and science and technology price index. The Huaxia SSE STAR Market 50 ETF saw a net inflow of over 1.8 billion yuan, ranking it among the top ETFs. In addition, bond ETFs also saw a significant increase in funds, with the total size now exceeding 250 billion yuan.
