Recently, abandoned spacecraft from the Soviet era have fallen.
The Russian national space agency announced on the 10th that after orbiting the Earth for 53 years, the spacecraft "Cosmos 482" launched during the Soviet era and destined for Venus, failed to reach its destination and instead fell out of orbit into the Indian Ocean. Launched in 1972, the spacecraft was supposed to land on Venus to carry out exploration missions, but due to a malfunction in the rocket thrusters, it was unable to reach Venus and remained in orbit around Earth for a long time.
