Hainan opens up a direct sea transport route for imported perfumed products.

According to Hainan Daily, on May 8th, a container ship loaded with over 700 imported fragrance and cosmetic products from French company L'Oral Group set sail from Singapore and stopped at Yangpu Port. The containers were transported to warehouses in the Haikou Comprehensive Bonded Zone through "shipside direct pick-up" method. On May 9th, after being inspected by the customs of Maancun Port Customs in Haikou, the containers were transferred to duty-free stores on outlying islands for further distribution. This marks the opening of a direct sea route for imported fragrance and cosmetic products to Hainan.
