Xi Jinping will attend the opening ceremony of the fourth ministerial meeting of the China-Latin America and Caribbean States Community and deliver an important speech.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on May 11th that the 4th Ministerial Meeting of the Forum of China and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) will be held in Beijing on May 13th, as agreed by both sides. President Xi Jinping will attend the opening ceremony of the meeting and deliver an important speech. Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs, will chair the meeting. Foreign Ministers or representatives of CELAC member countries and officials from relevant regional international organizations will also attend the meeting.
