The world's first 660 megawatt artificial cavern-type compressed air energy storage project has been successfully implemented.

The world's first 660-megawatt artificial cave type compressed air energy storage power station demonstration project designed and built by China Energy Construction Group has passed the feasibility review and officially landed in Dunhuang, Jiuquan, Gansu Province on the 8th, marking the advancement of China's compressed air energy storage industry towards a new era of single-unit power of 600 megawatts.
