The joint research team from Carlos III University of Madrid in Spain and Harvard University in the United States has proved through experiments that the mechanical and structural properties of magnetic metamaterials can be changed by adjusting the arrangement of internal magnets or applying an external magnetic field. This achievement is expected to bring more innovative applications in the fields of biomedicine, soft robotics, and others. The related research results were published in the recent issue of the journal "Advanced Materials."
