On Friday, the S&P 500 index closed down by 0.1%, the healthcare sector fell by 1.1%, the technology sector remained flat, and the energy sector rose by 0.9%. The Nasdaq 100 index closed flat, with constituent stocks CrowdStrike falling by 4.2%, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals falling by 3.6%, AppLovin falling by 3.1%, Grail, Amgen, and Starbucks falling by up to 2.5%, while Intel rose by 2%, Tesla rose by 4.6%, Third Microsystems rose by 12.5%, and TTD rose by 18.6%.
The Dow Jones closed down by over a hundred points, with constituent stocks Merck Pharmaceuticals falling by 2.2% and Amgen leading the decline, while Apple and Amazon rose by about 0.5%, Disney rose by 0.8%, 3M rose by 0.9%, Chevron rose by 1%, and Boeing rose by 1.5%.
