The Dow Jones closed down by over one hundred points, with Merck Pharmaceuticals falling by 2.2% and leading the decline, while Apple and Amazon rose by about 0.5%, Disney rose by 0.8%, 3M rose by 0.9%, Chevron rose by 1%, and Boeing rose by 1.5%.
