At the end of the trading session on Friday in the European market, the yield on the German 10-year government bond rose by 2.7 basis points to 2.562%, with a cumulative increase of 2.9 basis points for the week. After falling to 2.472% at the end of the European session on May 7th, the yield rebounded and rose to 2.588% on May 9th. The yield on the 2-year German bond rose by 1.2 basis points to 1.785%, with a cumulative increase of 2.3 basis points for the week, trading overall in the range of 1.711%-1.799%. The yield on the 30-year German bond rose by 2.9 basis points to 3.019%, with a cumulative increase of 4.8 basis points for the week. The yield spread between the 2-year and 10-year German bonds increased by 1.676 basis points to +77.454 basis points, with a cumulative increase of 0.6 basis points for the week.
