Hunan Province Occupational Disease Prevention and Treatment Institute: "3-year-old girl diagnosed with thallium poisoning" was a case from last year, but was mistakenly written as "recently" by the editor.

Hunan Province Occupational Disease Prevention and Treatment Institute released a statement: On May 7th, our institute released a popular science article titled "3-year-old girl with large amount of hair loss diagnosed with 'Thallium poisoning', if these symptoms appear, seek medical attention immediately!" Due to an editorial error, the time of last year's case was mistakenly written as "recent days", and in 2025, our institute did not admit any patients with Thallium poisoning.
