As of May 9, more than 110 integrated circuit companies on the Shanghai Stock Exchange's Sci-Tech Innovation Board have completed their first quarter financial disclosures, with a total revenue of 72.182 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 24%; and a net profit attributable to shareholders of 4.479 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 73%. Overall, with the continuous advancement of self-controllable technology and the gradual recovery of downstream AI, Internet of Things, consumer, and general industrial demand, the industry's revenue and profit have seen substantial growth, continuing the momentum from the fourth quarter of last year. Areas such as chip design, semiconductor equipment, and wafer manufacturing have performed well. The performance of companies in the chip product segment has shown significant growth, with general chips such as servers and CPUs and optical chip companies demonstrating high-speed growth. In the first quarter of 2025, more than 70 chip product companies achieved a total revenue of 30.969 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 24%, with over 70% of companies seeing revenue growth; they also achieved a net profit attributable to shareholders of 2.056 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 126%, with over half of the companies seeing net profit growth.
