Shanghai: Enterprises that hire college graduates can receive a one-time expansion subsidy of 1500 yuan per person.
Recently, the Shanghai Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Municipal Finance Bureau, and Municipal Education Commission issued a notice on the merger and implementation of the city's key groups' one-time employment subsidy and one-time expansion subsidy policy. The notice specifies that from January 1 to December 31, 2025, city enterprises and social organizations in Shanghai that employ graduates of the 2025 and within 2 years of leaving school who have not yet found employment, as well as unemployed youth aged 16-24 who are registered in the city, and have signed labor contracts and paid full social insurance premiums for 3 months or more according to regulations, can enjoy a one-time expansion subsidy of 1500 yuan for each person they employ. In order to further improve the satisfaction of employers, the Shanghai Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Department will optimize the process of one-time subsidies' distribution by continuing to carry out background data comparison and verification without the need for employer applications, and canceling the employer confirmation step to achieve accurate subsidy distribution.
