Cross-strait integration and development take new steps: Fujian used 640 million US dollars of Taiwan investment in the first quarter.

On May 8th, the inter-provincial meeting on the construction of a demonstration zone for integrated development across the Taiwan Strait was held in Fuzhou. Participants pointed out that greater strides must be taken in exploring new paths for integrated development across the Taiwan Strait, and that the construction of the demonstration zone should be taken to a new level with higher standards and quality. In the first quarter of this year, Fujian Province actually utilized $640 million in Taiwanese investments, a rapid year-on-year increase, accounting for over 50% of the national total.
