OpenAI's CEO and co-founder, Sam Altman, announced the appointment of Fidji Simo as Chief Operating Officer, who will report directly to him. To avoid any misunderstanding that he has been fired again, Altman clarified that he will continue to serve as the CEO of OpenAI.
