Xia Baolong arrived in Macau for investigation and research.

On May 8, Xia Baolong, director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council, arrived in Macao for inspection and research. In the afternoon of the same day, after arriving in Macao, Xia Baolong went to the Government House to meet and exchange views with Chief Executive Ho Iat Seng and heads of the Special Administrative Region's executive, legislative, and judicial institutions.
