Affected by heavy rain, over 30,000 people in one province of Colombia have been affected.

According to the report from the Colombian Risk Management Department on May 8th local time, due to heavy rain, 87 cities in Antioquia province are under flood risk alert, with 77 cities in red alert status and 10 cities in orange alert status. Approximately 32,000 people have been affected. Currently, a risk management committee has been established in Antioquia province, deploying a team consisting of geologists, engineers, and emergency care professionals to work in the affected areas.
